Fontainebleau Welding Winners
Three ABC New Orleans Bayou Chapter welding students punched their tickets to the 2023 ABC National Craft Competition in Florida next March 2023.

Timothy Martinez won 1st place in the pipe welding competition. Timothy is a graduate of Fontainebleau High School and a gold medal winner of the 2022 plate welding competition in San Antonio.
Ben Schuler and Patrick Fitzmorris won 1st and 2nd place at this year’s ABC New Orleans Bayou Chapter plate welding competition. Both are current students at Fountainebleau High and are sponsored by EXCEL.
EXCEL has been Fountainebleau’s exclusive industrial partner for many years and has had several students place in the regional and national craft competitions, many of which advance to full-time employment with EXCEL.
