EXCEL Group is proud to announce the addition of Katie Burk to the ABC Bayou Chapter Board of Directors. As an experienced HR professional in the construction industry, Katie brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the association.
As an incoming ABC Bayou Board of Directors member, Katie is excited to contribute her voice in advocating for the merit shop philosophy. This philosophy, central to the Association for Builders and Contractors, promotes the idea that all contractors should be able to compete for work on a level playing field, regardless of their labor affiliation,
Katie is passionate about this philosophy and looks forward to working with the other board members to shape the path ahead for the chapter. She believes that by promoting fair competition, the ABC Bayou Chapter can help ensure that the construction industry in the area is thriving and that all contractors and skilled craftspeople have the opportunity to succeed.
In addition to her work with the ABC Bayou Chapter, Katie is also active in other industry organizations and is committed to giving back to her community through volunteer work.
