EXCEL Brings Food and Fun to Safety Day

SNF Flopam, a leading manufacturer of water-soluble polymers, recently hosted its annual Safety Day to promote safety awareness and best practices among its employees and contractors. This year's Safety Day event was particularly noteworthy as EXCEL, one of SNF Flopam's top contractor supporters, played a significant role in making the event extra special for the employees at the facility.
The two-day event was filled with fun activities and educational exhibits, including giveaways, food trucks, and EXCEL's version of "Safety Jenga." EXCEL's involvement in Safety Day included setting up and running the "Safety Jenga" game, which challenged participants to remove and replace blocks from a tower without causing it to topple over. This fun and interactive game provided an excellent opportunity for participants to learn about the importance of proper equipment handling and the consequences of not following proper safety procedures.
At the event, employees experienced reinformed learning about various aspects of safety, such as personal protective equipment (PPE), hazard communication, and emergency response. The event also allowed participants to meet and interact with other members of the SNF Flopam community.
