ABC Pelican Students Tour EXCEL Fabrication Facility
EXCEL hosts a tour of our fabrication facility for ABC Pelican students.

EXCEL hosted a tour of our fabrication facility for ABC Pelican students. These students are a mixture of recent high school graduates, juniors, and seniors from Ascension Parish. They are enrolled in ABC’s Core Class for the summer. The Core class is an NCCER introductory construction class that is a prerequisite for every craft class at ABC.
The tour provided the occasion to see a complete picture of the opportunities available for working in a fabrication shop. Students encountered all aspects of the fabrication process, from the receiving area to where the final fabricated units are loaded onto trucks for job site delivery.
We look forward to continuing to host tours of our fabrication facility for students entering the industry. We wish each student much success in their career.
