Celebrating Excellence: Cole Amedee's Journey to Certified Safety Professional Success at EXCEL

At EXCEL, we celebrate the growth and accomplishments of our team members, such as Cole Amedee, Corporate Regional Safety Manager, who recently obtained the distinguished Certified Safety Professional (CSP) credential.

Inspired by his father, a lifelong safety professional, Cole pursued a four-year safety degree at Nicholls State University. From there, he earned his Graduate Safety Practitioner (GSP) degree, which served as a foundation for his CSP journey. After months of daily study and preparation, Cole successfully attained the CSP, one of the highest and most respected certifications in the safety field.

This accomplishment is not just about recognition,” Cole shares. “For me, earning the CSP is about staying sharp in an industry that changes every day. It challenges me to keep learning, keep improving, and bring that knowledge back to EXCEL’s teams and projects. It also shows my commitment to being the best professional I can be while helping EXCEL stay ready for what the future brings.

With only a small number of CSP-certified professionals across the company, Cole’s certification enhances our safety culture and demonstrates our commitment to preparing employees for long-term success.
