EXCEL Group is proud to announce the promotion of Coby Self to Vice President of Mechanical Construction.
For Coby, construction has always been about two things: building the work and building the people who make it happen.
Over more than two decades with EXCEL, Coby has served in key roles including Site Manager, Project Manager, and Construction Manager. Throughout his career, he has remained focused on results, accountability, and developing the people around him.
“I like building. I like helping people grow. I like starting from nothing and building something.”
That mindset carries into the way Coby leads. He believes good leadership requires listening, being present in the conversation, setting clear expectations, and being willing to make the tough decisions necessary to move people and projects forward.
